The organisers of the annual Sportsville Special Recognition Award are proud to announce the coming on board of Spires Media as the headline sponsor of this year’s ceremony. Hon Frank Ilaboya, the Chief Executive Officer of Sportsville, made this announcement yesterday evening in a special press release personally signed by him.

“We are excited and proud to announce the coming on board of Spires Media as the headline sponsor of this year’s award ceremony,” Hon Ilaboya said.
“Spires Media’s vision of sports development from the grassroots aligns with ours and this
partnership will no doubt elevate the profile of the Award Ceremony going forward.
“As part of our agreement, the logo and images of Spires Media will now be used on all our publicity materials,” Ilaboya added.
The Managing Director of Spires Media, Dr Femi Bankole-Alibay, is equally excited about the partnership with Sportsville, describing it as unique and value driven.
“We are really very proud to be associated with Sportsville, which over the years, has redefined sports reportage in a unique and refreshingly different way.
“We all know what Sportsville and the brains behind it stand for, credibility! For us at Spires Media, it wasn’t difficult to tie up this working partnership knowing we are dealing with a company with a high profile of credibility and consistency, having been in operations for the past 25 years.
“Spires Media is here to revolutionise grassroots football development through the Naija Street Soccer Tournament.
“Our debut last year has received plaudits far and wide, but I tell you something, in a few years from now, Nigerians will be marvelled by the quality and innovation we will be bringing to the table.

“For example, this year’s Spires Media Naija Street Soccer Tournament will be the biggest this country will be proud of. We are ready to take street soccer by storm,” Dr Alibay, an environmental sustainability and World Bank Consultant, promised.
As the clock ticks to April 3rd, 2025 date of the award ceremony , expectations of another glamorous award is in the offing as organisers put finishing touches to the preparations.
