
Spires 5Aside Heats Up in Epe as Semi-Finalists Emerge

The atmosphere was electric in Epe as the divisional rounds of the much-anticipated Spires 5Aside Tournament delivered on every bit of the hype. With grassroots football on full display, fans were treated to a thrilling knockout phase that left no doubt the men have indeed been separated from the boys.
Knockout Round Results:
Net Breakers FC 8–2 Deultimate SA: In a ruthless show of firepower, Net Breakers FC dismantled Deultimate SA, asserting their dominance with clinical finishing and tactical superiority.
Papa SA 4(3)–4(1) Top Rocks FA: In one of the round’s most gripping encounters, Papa SA held their nerve in a dramatic penalty shootout after a pulsating 4–4 draw in regulation time.

Olaodus FC 1(6)–1(5) Flames FC: Olaodus FC edged past Flames FC in a nervy penalty shootout, advancing by the slimmest of margins in what was a tactical chess match from start to finish.
Angso Sports 0–6 Peckins FA: Peckins FA were emphatic in their demolition of Angso Sports, putting six past their opponents in a performance that sent a clear message to the rest of the teams.

With the knockout now in the rearview, attention turns to the semi-finals, where four elite teams will clash for a coveted spot in the final. The fixtures are set for June 3rd at the STS Pitch, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Bogije, Ibeju-Lekki.
